Joshua Mohr Named 2016 NCIBA Book Award Finalist!
The Northern California Independent Booksellers Association just named Joshua Mohr winner of the 2016 NCIBA Book Award in Fiction for his latest novel, All This Life! They present an award every Spring in various categories for books published for the first time in the prior year written by an author residing in Northern California. Way to go, Josh!
Our relationship with Josh began with his debut—Some Things That Meant the World to Me—which was our first best-seller, appearing on the San Francisco Chronicle bestseller list. He is one of our most gifted contemporary writers and we are extremely excited for his first book-length memoir Sirens to hit the shelves early next year! It will be our FOURTH Joshua Mohr title. We like him a lot, can ya tell?
Cari Luna calls Sirens "a hell of a compelling read," and we couldn't agree more. Excerpts have already appeared in Buzzfeed and The Rumpus. Keep your eyes peeled for this "darkly funny and wildly inspiring" memoir, and in the mean time, go read all the books by the wonderfully acclaimed novelist, Joshua Mohr.
