This Episode

Sarah Rose Etter and Yelena Moskovich will both read from their books and then be in conversation together. They will talk about surrealism, art, the writing process, and a whole lot more. There will be a Q&A with the audience following their discussion.



Sarah Rose EtterSarah Rose Etter is the author of The Book of X (Two Dollar Radio, 2019) and Tongue Party (Caketrain Press). Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in The CutElectric LiteratureVICEGuernicaPhiladelphia Weekly, and more. She is the recipient of writing residencies at the Disquiet International Program in Portugal, and the Gullkistan Creative Program in Iceland. She earned her MFA from Rosemont College. She lives in San Francisco.

Yelena MoskovichYelena Moskovich was born in Ukraine (former USSR) and emigrated to Wisconsin with her family as Jewish refugees in 1991. She studied theatre at Emerson College, Boston, and in France at the Lecoq School of Physical Theatre and Université Paris 8. Her plays and performances have been produced in the US, Canada, France, and Sweden. She has also written for VogueFrieze MagazineThe Paris ReviewTLSNew StatesmanHappy ReaderMixte Magazine, the Skirt Chronicles, and Dyke_on Magazine. She is the winner of the 2017 Galley Beggar Press Short Story Prize. In 2018, she served as a curator and exhibiting artist at the Los Angeles Queer Biennial. She is the author of the novels The Natashas (Serpent's Tail, 2016), and Virtuoso (Two Dollar Radio, 2020). She lives in Paris.
