The Wire | All Over and Over

Tim Kinsella | Radio Waves

I recently bought Tim Kinsella's All Over and Over (Featherproof 2015). The book is a collection of tour diaries from his extensive time on the road with his band, Make Believe (Joan of Arc), during the early/mid 2000s. Kinsella's reflective insight is where the beauty lies. Check out this snippet:

Michigan: crazy state of heartbreak. Crazy remaining state of heartbreak remains. Crazy perfect hurt. Strange Nothing-Place, but body. Vacancy everywhere. Venison sausage, venison jerky, venison salami. How quiet people can be to each other.

*Catch Joan of Arc playing with American Football in Chicago on Saturday Oct. 29 @ Vic Theatre
