Design of the Week | Gentle On My Mind

Glen Campbell was an American singer, songwriter, musician, television host, and actor. He is best known for a series of hits in the 1960s and 1970s, and for hosting a music and comedy variety show called The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour. Sadly, he passed away yesterday, as he suffered from Alzheimer's disease.

I can't say that I'm a country music fan (considering the bullshit on the radio these days), but I am a sucker for some of the old songs (and I did get drunk on 'White Lightning' at the George Jones Museum in Nashville one time). One of those good old country songs is Glen Campbell's "Gentle On My Mind." It's a song I wish I wrote. Give a listen below, and let the good times roll. So long, Glen.
