The Death-Rattle of Culture | 1/6/17

Milo Yiannopoulos | Radio Waves

Self-proclaimed internet "super-villain," racist conservative, Milo Yiannopoulos, snagged a book deal with a conservative imprint of Simon & Schuster that has also published books by ghost-writers for Donald Trump, Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh. The release says, "Readers can expect a string of waspish one-liners and bitchy put-downs from America's favorite mischievous gay conservative." Critics and bookstores have threatened a boycott of Simon & Schuster over the controversial book deal. In a statement, Simon & Schuster asked readers to “withhold judgment until they have had a chance to read the actual contents of the book.” Uh, no.

If you didn't see Mariah Carey's NYE performance in Times Square, that's probably for the best. On New Year's Day, she tweeted "shit happens." To that I say, shit does happen, Mariah. Shit does happen.
