On the Dial | GRLwood

Self described "Kentucky-fried queerdos"

Rej Forester and Karen Ledford make up the two piece outfit known as GRLwood. I found out about GRLwood from a friend's instagram story. Normally I skip right through videos of concerts because the sound is usually shit but I could could not look away. Rej and Karen were thrashing on stage with energy through the roof. GRLwood has this punk, screamo sound with a chaotic energy that I really fuck with. Some songs I have on repeat are "I Hate My Mom", "Bisexual" and "Nice Guy."

Listen to their album Daddy.

Or stream their new album I Sold My Soul to the Devil When I was 12 on Spotify.

Hi there!

Two Dollar Radio is a family-run outfit founded in 2005 with the mission to reaffirm the cultural and artistic spirit of the publishing industry. We aim to do this by presenting bold works of literary merit, each book, individually and collectively, providing a sonic progression that we believe to be too loud to ignore.
