Design of the Week | Freaks and Leeks

Freaks + Leeks | Radio Waves

Freaks + Leeks is the vegan brain-child of a former baker/pastry cook. With the help and encouragement from her partner—Aaron, Amina secured her first open-for-business pop-up spot with Platform Brewing in Columbus. The pop-up opened March 5th and has been serving brunch at Platform every Sunday since with a goal "to facilitate an opportunity for Columbus to enjoy thoughtful, accessible, delicious, and (mostly) healthy vegan food."

I am lucky enough to call Aaron and Amina friends, and couldn't be more stoked for their business. The food is bomb, if you are wondering. Initially the duo was supposed to serve brunch through March, but just announced that they will be at Platform through June. Starting in April, they will even be serving up vegan dinners, expanding their hours to 11am-7pm.

Good food and sweet people, if you're in Columbus on a Sunday stop by Platform Brewing for a beer and give Freaks + Leeks a try. My personal fav is the biscuits and gravy.
